No Fail Layout for Quick & Easy Cards

Hello! I'm almost over the "Release Hang-Over". Unfortunately, I had to roll straight from the August Release into back-to-school prep. Which means, very...little...time for crafting.

But I have to be creative. It's just part of my DNA. No worries, because the pair of cards I'm sharing today are quick and easy. And also happen to be perfect for giving those brand new stamp sets a good test drive. You know, like the warm-up before the serious crafting goes down!

The No Fail Layout:

  • 3 x 4" center panel - focal image
  • 4.25 x 5.5" card base - all over pattern featuring elements from the focal image

For the first card I stamped, colored with Copics and die cut the bunnies and raccoon mask. Here, one bunny is "un-masking" their little love bandit. A bit of ink blending for the sky helps to separate the focal panel from the background. A simple sentiment stamped in black ties in the image with a cute pun.

For the background, I repeatedly stamped the raccoon mask and a little heart to reinforce the love theme.

This card uses all of the same principles. This time, I only added color to the focal panel and used a halo of blue ink blending to keep all of the focus on the bunny in his costume.

From here, you could add any little details and extras that you want. Some glossy accents to the hearts, or their eyes and nose. Perhaps some Wink of Stella? It's up to you!

Thanks for stopping in. I hope you are having a great week!
